What should people wear in the tanning booth?
Most people don't wear anything as the room is completely private.
Do I get better results if I shave my legs before I use the booth?
Exfoliation prior to using any type of Self Tanner, is really the
key to acquiring a tan which will provide the most natural fade.
How soon after the tanning session can the user shower? We recommend you wait at least a six hours
Is the user wet when getting out of the booth? The mist applied in the VersaSpa tanning booth is very fine, much like the mist floating
in the air on a foggy day. By the time the user steps out of the booth most of the mist will have dried as the VersaSpa will also
blow dry the body. There may still be a few moist areas and you may see small droplets clinging to the body hair on arms or legs.
This remaining mositure can be removed quite easily by towelling dry. There's no worry about wiping off the solution with the towel.
Towelling does not streak the tan, and any solution that comes off on the towel was excess and will not affect the tan.
V E R S A S P A F A Q's
Do people with hair on their legs/arms, develop a uneven tan where hair is present? No. People with hair on their bodies will see
tiny droplets of mist on their hairs at the end of the tanning process. These droplets are removed during towelling off
and the same even, golden brown tan is achieved.
Is the process safe for consumers? Yes. All of the components in our tanning solution are approved by the FDA and have been used in
food and/or cosmetics for several decades. The solution does contain sugar and walnut extract for those who suffer from either
diabetes or nut allergies the VersaSpa is not recommended.
How is the tanning solution applied to the skin? The VersaSpa booth is a full-body, DHA tanning process that utilizes a new misting
technology. This is a revolutionary process that allows the booth to apply a uniform amount of tanning solution to all parts of the
body. When the special VersaSpa solution passes through the booth’s nozzles, the particles of solution are polarized making it cover
all surfaces of the skin evenly. When the tanning process is finished, the user simply steps out of the booth, towels-off any excess
mist, gets dressed, and exits. The result is a uniform, natural-looking tan in less than five minutes.
Does it turn the skin orange? No! In the past, self-tanners gave many individuals an unnatural orange glow and caused streaking. Most
of these undesirable results were caused by improper or ineffective application techniques. Applying cremes and lotions by hand usually
results in excessive amounts being absorbed in the skin. Excessive amounts applied in a single application can give an orange glow
to the skin. Unnatural dark spots may also appear in dry or thick skinned areas such as elbows, knees, and knuckles because these
areas have a tendency to absorb more of the creme. Hand held spray-on applicators tend to run and cause streaking. This new misting
technology used to apply the VersaSpa tanning solution assures that all areas of the body get a uniform coating of the solution in
the exact quantity required to produce a golden brown tan.
Will it make the user feel sticky like lotions do? No. Once the user leaves the VersaSpa tanning booth and dries off, their skin will
feel soft and pliable because of the moisturizing components. It will not feel sticky.
